Echo Collective + Mystery Guest 'Mirror Image'

  • Palazzo 190 Rue Théodore Verhaegen Saint-Gilles, Bruxelles, 1060 Belgium (map)

A night where sound surrounds, mirrors reflect, and mysteries unfold. This February, DAS HAUS invites you to  Mirror Image—an immersive concert where hypnotic sound becomes tactile, light transforms into rhythm and mystery lingers in the air, keeping you on your toes.

At the heart of Mirror Image is Echo Collective’s latest exploration of sound and space. Renowned for their collaborations with avant-garde icons like Jóhann Jóhannsson and A Winged Victory for the Sullen, Echo Collective brings their minimalist, slow-burning and emotionally evocative style to DAS HAUS. This time, they push further—layering their music with immersive 4DSOUND technology and teaming up with a mystery guest to elevate the performance.

Expect to be surrounded by lush soundscapes crafted in real time, where notes ripple through space, creating an experience that feels intimate as it is expansive.

Known for redefining classical music through collaborations with post-classical and electronic artists, Brussels’ Echo Collective has graced global stages and earned acclaim for their evocative sound. Duo Margaret Hermant (violin, harp, vocals) and Neil Leiter (viola, vocals) blend classical training with fearless experimentation, crafting performances that are hauntingly beautiful. Their latest album, Mirror Image, showcases their unique ability to fuse delicate acoustics with cutting-edge technology.

Echo Collective’s sound designer, Fabien Leseure, manipulates 4DSOUND with surgical precision, turning each note into an enveloping wave that flows around the space. His mastery of sculpting sound environments transforms every performance into a sensory journey where music is both heard and felt.

For this one-night-only event, an enigmatic mystery guest joins Echo Collective—an artist whose presence alone is known to provoke, inspire, and captivate. With unfiltered creativity, they promise to bring a thrilling contrast to Echo Collective’s minimalism, adding bursts of raw, visceral energy. What will it be? You’ll have to be there to find out.

Let’s lose ourselves in sound, light and the excitement of the unknown. DAS HAUS invites you to awaken the spaces between sound and silence—an intimate and rare encounter you won’t forget.
